Response Group Participation Options

There are many departments that utilize the Response Group features of Skype for Business. If your department is configured for a Response Group and enabled the option for agents to selectively participate in the call-queue, the follow the instructions below.

Windows

To put yourself into the Response Group queue and receive calls:

  1. Sign into the Skype for Business client.
  2. Select Tools > Response Group Settings
    • If you cannot see the tools menu bar at the top of the client, locate the gear icon and select the carrot drop-down to the right of it to reveal the menu bar.
  3. A new web page will pop-up. Select the check-box next to the Response Group you want to receive inbound calls for.
    • If you are prompted to sign-in on this web page, use your Los Rios credentials with the username format as: W-ID@losrios.edu
  4. You should start receiving calls within a few minutes of making this change.
  5. To stop receiving calls for a particular Response Group, simply UN-check the box next to the Response Group name.

Note: If you are configured to be part of several Response Groups, you will see multiple Response Groups in the list. You may or may not be able to configure your participation on all Response Groups as this is configured with the guidance of the department supervisor.

Mac (OSX)

  1. Navigate to the following URL and authenticate with your username format: W-ID@losrios.edu
  2. A new web page will pop-up. Select the check-box next to the Response Group you want to receive inbound calls for.
  3. If you are prompted to sign-in on this web page, use your Los Rios credentials with the username format as: W-ID@losrios.edu
  4. You should start receiving calls within a few minutes of making this change.
  5. To stop receiving calls for a particular Response Group, simply UN-check the box next to the Response Group name.
