To forward your phone to the voice mail system, perform these steps:
1. Take phone off hook, press #6 (precautionary step which cancels “busy” forwarding), hang up.
2. Take phone off hook, press #7 (precautionary step which cancels “no answer” forwarding, hang up.
3. Take phone off hook, press *6 (sets “busy” forwarding), you will hear a fast busy signal, enter in 3602 (the Unified Messaging number), the fast busy will change to a long steady tone (confirmation tone), hang up.
4. Take phone off hook, press *7 (sets “no answer” forwarding), you will hear a fast busy signal, enter in 3602 (the Unified Messaging number), the fast busy will change to a long steady tone (confirmation tone), hang up.

After these steps are complete, calls that come to your phone that are not answered will be sent to your Unified Messaging mailbox.
